IO1 - Systematic evidence review on Mentoring Models to engage disadvantaged parents' in their children schooling (NOW AVAILABLE)

Description: The first intellectual output aims to identify and systematize good practices on mentoring models to engage disadvantaged parents' in their children schooling and parents’ empowerment – raising the family influence on their children’s learning with a review on existing projects addressing parents’ engagement in school achievement.
The research will also allow to designing an informed process-oriented model of mentoring targeting particular type of participants: disadvantaged people that we know have lack of some physical, psychological and social conditions.

IO2 Self-Assessment Tool for Mentors’ Managers (NOW AVAILABLE)

Description: The purpose of the second intellectual output is to offer to the mentors’ managers a tool (physical and online format) that helps them to learn about themselves as a mentor manager – their ability, knowledge and competences to manage a mentoring process.
The SATMM will include key skills, correspondent indicators and a tool with suitable to manage the mentors’ skills development and to guide the mentoring program progression.

Description: In the third intellectual output, the partnership will work to develop the mentor's self-assessment focusing in skills and correspondent descriptors: attitudes, behaviors, experience, knowledge and potential.
The SATM must be organized in generic, specific and supporting key skills which are crucial to organize and deliver the mentors training, do the matching with the mentees, conduct the mentoring program and to evaluate the competences development during the pilot.

IO4 Mentoring to Parents Engagement: the course to train the Managers (NOW AVAILABLE)

Description: This intellectual output focus on the training process. The training contents for Managers will comprise online and in class sessions:
_Online training - learning events, where managers will have the opportunity not only to go in deep through the contents but also to have opportunities for online conference
_Class sessions - participants will be invited to think “outside the box” (e.g. real situation vs non-expected situation), have direct contact with possible mentors/mentees and learn what actually occurs in schools, sharing concerns with teachers, parents and students.

IO5 Mentoring to Parents Engagement: the course to train the Mentors​ (NOW AVAILABLE)

Description: This intellectual output aims to develop a training course, in this case for mentors - parents (or persons with the same role) that have a strong engagement in students schooling.
The training contents for mentors will only comprise class sessions, where participants will have the opportunity to think “outside the box”, establish direct contact with possible mentees and learn what actually occurs in schools - they will share concerns with school community.

IO6 Mentoring Model for parents’ engagement at child schooling life

Description: This intellectual output focus on a mentoring model that aims to create more effective parental participation – bringing together parents, teachers and community.
Our objective is to increase co-operation between home and school and parents’ active involvement, giving, at the same time, training to teachers in order to facilitate that co-operation.
The model will be written in a guide format, including chapters as: Introduction to the project and Parent’r’us Mentoring Programme; Support, training and supervision for mentors; Mentoring tools; etc.

IO7 School Parent Engagement Awareness Toolkit (NOW AVAILABLE)

Description: This intellectual output was thought to answer the question: “how to create more effective disadvantaged parents’ participation?”. The toolkit aims to provide necessary support for effective pathways for parents’ school engagement and will contain different toolsets tuned to the given target audience(s):
_Policy makers 
_School heads
_Teachers
_Parents
_Other Community/NGO players
With the toolkit users will find tips, resources and case studies to engage parents and other stakeholders in actions such recruitment, reporting, community based activities and events aiming to “give voice” to participants and beneficiaries (especially parents and youngsters).
